I find one of the easiest ways to get involved is showcasing one of your talents. In my case, this means Irish Dancing and teaching. I love to teach the rich history behind Irish Dancing and the dance itself. For this Saint Patrick's Day, that is exactly what I did. I was able to dance at the Muscatine Lutheran Homes for the residents and staff. Along with dancing, I spoke to the residents about who I am and where I come from. The highlight of this performance was when I had to opportunity to teach a 102 year old an Irish Jig! I hope I can move that well when I am her age. :) Enjoy some pictures from my afternoon.
